How Engaging MYD works

• After the initial presentation and buy-in, the most important next step is to assure Data Security and Confidentiality. Commercial data is a vital competitive tool to most businesses. Security and Confidentiality is therefore at the heart of the MYD process. A confidentiality agreement will be in place. To further re-assure you, we do not need to have access to customer names and addresses or to manufacturer part numbers and product descriptions. The resulting data therefore has no commercial value outside of your business.
• We would then visit for a 1 day consultancy free of charge in order to discuss and evaluate the areas of business with the most opportunity. You will probably already have some ideas of areas that are not performing to the level that you would expect.
• We will then discuss and propose a plan of action. The service offer is flexible, so we can either tackle a series of smaller projects with a rapid ROI, or structure larger more comprehensive reviews.
• We find that successes with the smaller projects stimulate the process and increase the appetite for larger ones.
• Once the approach is agreed, we will need a download of the relevant data. The fields required will be defined and we can work with you to achieve this.
• We then need to work with your staff to understand how the data structures and heirarchies control the business.
• After the initial analysis, we will have a much clearer idea of how your business operates. We have many different analytical tools and processes to call on. As the data is cleansed and aligned, further deeper analyses will identify additional opportunities.
• The aim is to then return on a regular basis to re-fresh and review the ongoing opportunities and to mentor any in-house projects that result.
